Hi! My name is Cheptu.

Welcome to my revived blog, NOW Journey Home.

Have you had a jarring dream that left an indelible imprint that there’s something more for you to know? Such dreams arise from the Archetypal realm, your inner mystic connected to the Most High and the collective unconscious of all humanity. I want to share with you my passion about Archetypal Dreamwork and my own personal healing journey from disconnection, aloofness, pride and shame on my way back “home” to my enlivened and unfettered heart…my vintage radiance, power.

Every one of us has our own unique path. Do you have an impasse, maybe you can’t quite put your finger on it, but you know that there’s something inside of you that holds you back, saps your passion, keeps you living your life “safely” instead of “letting it rip”? Paying attention to your dreams will help unlock those hidden places and I want share with you how it happened (is happening) for me. Through my blog I hope to inspire you and challenge you to trust the imprint of the inner Divine in you that knows what it knows and is always in service to your ultimate happiness, wellness and peace of mind.  I hope you will visit me often. I am a spiritual guide and dreamwork practitioner who is passionate about Archetypal Dreamwork as a form of inner direction and “healing theatre” for the soul. What I know from my own experience and from working with others in one-to-one spiritual partnering, workshops, retreats and small group classes, is that we each carry the imprint of divine Wisdom consciousness that is always nudging us towards greater self-discovery, individuation, and capacities far beyond what our ego alone can know or experience. When we courageously follow the threads of our dreams, we gain clarity and develop compassion as we non-judgmentally work through our foibles and deepest shadows and move toward the light, the love, and support that's also present in us and for us. We learn to trust the wisdom of our own "soul print"...our own hero's journey to liberate our authentic selves from the bowels of misperception, conditioned responses, reactions and habits, fear and the residue of trauma which all prevent us from living our fullest, richest lives. A daughter of the Gullah-speaking South Carolina Lowcountry, I am also a musician, teacher and songwriter; a student of traditional world culture, and soon-to-be published author. In my blog, I will share from my personal healing journey and offer you a taste of the wonderful banquet that awaits when you pay critical and soulful attention to your dreams, act upon the "prescriptive medicine" they bring, and step into your creative, abundant and passion-filled life!
